For Teachers

This section of the site is for teachers. Students are of course welcome to look at the posts, but the language may be a bit challenging for some.

As a teacher myself, I would be lost without the great online resources posted by teachers all over the world so this is my chance to give a little back. Below are link to things I have made that might be of interest to IELTS teachers and English teachers in general.

Excellent site, well done. I’ve been teaching IELTS over 10 years and teaching since 94 and this is by far the best thought out, laid out and easy to use that I have seen. I will recommend to all my colleagues in EFL. For new teachers it will be a dream.

I’m Ngoc and now I’m tutoring some students having target of 6.0 in writing and reading.
I want to thank you a lot. Your site is very helpful for me because i’m new in teaching.
I’m looking forward for your updating.

Thanks Ngoc. I live in Saigon, so it is nice to help a teacher from Vietnam.

Oh, I’m very surprise. I see that your wife is Vietnamese, isn’t she? I live in Ha Noi, so if you need any help when you go to Ha Noi, please feel free to let me know.

Hello. Just found your website. I teach mainly FCE/CAE/CPE but I do have some students doing IELTS. I’m doing the Cambridge Teacher ielts course to familiarise myself with the syllabus etc.

Been teaching online for 2 years now (due to a dodgy knee and an operation). Much easier sitting at home.

I’m a good proof-reader, so if I notice any typos etc in your blogs I’ll let you know! It’ll be my bit of repayment to you for me scouring through your website for goodies!
